Doomsday in Brisbane~><~

This is the first time I see Desert dust storm in my life. It's surprised in this morning, when I was studying in the library.

In the meantime, many students came into the library with running noses and coughing. Outside is just like a doomsday in the world.

Melbourne -- Great Ocean Road

It has been for ages I didn't write down anything on my Blog. Too many things on the new semester, it has been torturing me continuously on papers. However, I just spare few time to complete my rest of Melbourne travelling. I hope I can....^^!!!

"Great Ocean Road" is the most famous famous spot in Melbourne. Many tourists organise their itineraries, no doubt, Great Ocean Road would be involved.

For me, it is the most difficult to get up in the early morning, around 5 o'clock as well as you have to go to the assembly location. Fortunately, I could take a nap on the bus. Near Great Ocean Road, we saw beautiful Ocean coast and the driver started explaining about landscape. Now and then, the bus would pull over to let the passengers take a photograph, because some of the places are also breathtaking.

During this tour, an Aussie how sat beside me was called Blinda. She lives in Sydney, but she didn't go to Melbourne. It's astonished to me, but thinking about Melbourne and Sydney are too big to travelling all of them.

Finally, we arrived the destination, Great Ocean Road. Spectacular! Magnificent! I saw the natural power created these rock columns, twelve Apostles. Even though I couldn't recognise which one is, which one isn't...^^!!! However, the view of the coast that really really caught my eyes. You can take a look the photos.

This is a really good experience for me. Nice people, beatiful view and good weather. You sould travel here, if you come Melbourne.

Melbourne -- Victoria Market+PUFFING BILLY Steam Train

The third day in Melbourne, today was also whole day travelling.

Victoria Market is the biggest market in Melbourne. There were not only for food, vegetable, some ingredients and grocerie, but also many Art exhibition. In this market, you could feel there were several different atmosphere there. I think that's so-called exotic sells.^^.

After that, Next place was Puffing Billy that was sort of forest steam train. Actually, in Taiwan, we also have this facility, but that is located in a high mountain. Particularly, I didn't take that in Taiwan beofore..^^!!! Therefore, it made me more excited.


Before boarding, we almost couldn't get in the train, because the station oversold the tickets. However, there were not enough seats for all of the passengers. Lucky me, I found a carriage in the end and sit with a French family and Captain.
In comparison with Taiwan, many people sit in the windows and enjoy the weather. I like it! Today, the trip made me enjoy the nature in this Forest. I hope I can come here again.

Melbourne Buliding Exhibition+Museum+Gaol

After Aussie public holiday, more and more people showed up and stores were opened on the street. In the meantime, the whole city seemed to be activated. It's also distinct to the past two days. Therefore, it's a good timing to go to the Information and asked about travelling in Melbourne.

In comparison, Melbourne Information had good quality and quantity than Brisbane. However, Melbourne is also much bigger than Brisbane. Their Information was just like a travelling agency. You need to take the number ticket and were in queue. During the enquiry with the receptionist, I planned today's itinerary and for following days.

Spot 1. Melcourne Buliding Exhibition and Melbourne Museum

Unfortunately, Buliding Exhibition wasn't open, and Museum was too expensive, so I just stayed outside and took some photos. However, their bulidings were fabulous and Magnificent! I like it!

Spot 2. Melcourne Ancient Gaol Museum

I think that was the second time to go to the Gaol=Jail. Last time is when I was childhood, I went to my father's workplace and he was a police officer...ha...Don't think about I was a criminal, ok?^^!!! Everybody knows that Australia was a place where locked many prisoners from Britain. However, the circumstance has become a history now and also attracted many tourists to visit. When I got into the perison, I was astonished to see not only the British but also some Chinese, Irish and so on, many nationalities. They all locked up in this tiny and dirty Gaol, because even I was just locked up for 10 minutes; that was really uncomfortable.

After the visiting the Gaol, the Sun was also getting down. You could find the night view of Melbourne. It was spectacular. Take a look~^_^

Melbourne In Christmas and Boxing Day

It's my first time to go to another city in Australia, Melbourne. In addition, I saw the photographs from my girlfriend's album that makes me more interested in that big city. Also many people said that Melbourne is much better than Sydney.ha....^^!!! Following the articles, I will describe what I saw and what I felt.

25th December, 2008, I start my trip. In the early morning, when I arrived the Australian National Airport, there had been many people there for waiting the aircraft. I thought because of Christmas. In Australia, Christmas resembles Chinese New Year that people will go back to house with their families and celebrate together. Therefore, you will see no one on the street at Christmas. Also there won't be any stores open by the time. However, the following day is Boxing Day, you will see that people are full of the street and I am one of them, because the merchandise are more cheaper than normal days.^^!!!

It's a really special experience in Melbourne. As soon as I arrived there, I could feel the distinct atmosphere. The weather was nice, actually cool and cold, but I liked. People said there are 4 seasons in one day that is not boasting. Walking on the street, you could see that not many people there, so you would feel comfortable to visit everywhere ,except China Town. It was the place I still could confront many people. In addtion to China Town, I enjoyed visiting the buliding of Melbourne, because the buliding has been there, maybe for a century from Europe. I thought Australia is also an International country, too many different nationalities.

Tram is one of the main public transportation in Melbourne. It was different to Brisbane, Bus. Their colour and image were also vivid that was like some of their alleys.^^. I have to say, their daylight is really long. Until 9 O'clock, the sunshine is still bright.==. COOL~ Because of the high latitude in Summer.CAN'T SLEEP WELL.><

On 26th December 2008, the Boxing Day, I finally bought a pair of walking shoes which I really liked in Brisbane. I supposed I couldn't find out in Melbourne. However, after looking for 3 shoe stores, I found out and had many size and also was much cheaper.^_^. FANTASTIC!

One Day Tour by City Cat

This is City Cat. Actually, many people confuse about Cat. Why use Cat? An animal? In fact, Cat is an abbreviation of "Catamaran". It means a fast sailing boat with two hulls. It is really convenient transportation in Brisbane. Please take this if you come to Brisbane.^^

Easter In Australia

Parade for Easter !!!!

Easter in Australia, it is a special day to me, because I have never participate before. In fact, My friend and I was going to a Japanese party. When I was on the bus, my friend called me and said, Kevin! hurry up! Today, in the city, there was a big parade. And I said to my friend, took a photo and I was on my way!!!

The police had already blocked many streets for passing of the procession. That was stunning! I have never seen this occasion, so I was just rushing to find my friend and taking a lot of pictures in the motion. I thought this parade had proceeded for around 30 minutes. However, this 30 minutes had let me feel that there was still some fascinated things in Aussie...ha.

During this parade, my friend and I took lots of photos. Furthermore, my friend wanted to have a photo with Aussie girls, but I really didn't have this experince before. However, I truly admired my friend, Bernie. I told him there were two pretty Aussie over there, as well as he just asked me some English sentences and went chatting with those girls. How amazing! Those girls were very kind and took photo with him. HA~~therefore, I took a photo, too.

This is completely a magnificent day! Bernie is an auspicious guy! He just comes to Australia 1 month. However, he has seen something that I never see, I have been here 10 months==!. Moreover, We have a crazy party and marvellous Easter in Church, too. I will write down next time. ^_^

Australia Day^_^

It's my first time to celebrate Australia Day, and now I know it is on Twenty-Sixth February.

In fact, nithing's special on this day, however Aussie has really much love to make lots of celebrations than Taiwan. From 8 o'clock AM to around 10:30PM, there were many sideshows, fighter plane show, concerts and so on. In the morning, to be honest, I just learnt how to understand English in the film. It's a little bit boring.

Despite there was nothing particular, I was surprised by the airforce show nearby my sharehouse. As a result of the fighter was flying too near the ground, and the engine was so loud. Meanwhile, I was cooking and listening the music. After this, ha..... I considered to memorise all the vocabularies from the flim. Moreover, I was looking forward to enjoying the church tomorrow. The song in there was really fantastic.

We were late to the South Bank, nevertheless our good mates had already occupied some seats there. You can see the show in my Album. ^_^so..... Enjoying that^_^ HAHAHAHAHA......

Boxing Day

Today is the Boxing day, it's my first time to hear that, because we don't have this holiday. Therefore it was fascinated to look forward to waiting for.

From yesterday, we had a party in my sharehouse. Before then, we went to the city and bought some ingredients. I found a circumstance which there were a few people in the city. Almost people in the city who were Asians or people from other countries. It's just like Chinese New Year Eve. Everybody would go back home with their families. Particularly when I went to a Pub, a block lady chatted with us and asked that why we weren't with our families. After she knowed we were overseas students, she invited us to her house and ate lunch, becsue she felt we were poor. For this reason, I know how important on this holiday.

Brisbane, it's just like a dead town at Christmas. Everything was closed. Strange for us, for instance, it would be hilarious on Christmas in Taiwan. Every shopping mall would be open whole day, 24 hours. You could find many shows outside and wouldn't feel bored. It's very similar to Korea and Japan. Sometimes I feel Aussie not really want to earn the money, because the welfare is too good to work hard. I can't understand and it's piece of cake for Asian businessman defeat Aussie. Whatever, it's culture for this country. By the way, we visited a church which took place Mass. However, We were walking home by one hour, because we missed the bus.==

In the Boxing Day, many people went shopping in the city. I was astonished to see that was completely distinct to yesterday. I was difficult to move on in the shopping mall, moreover everything was on sale, because it's Boxing Day, I think. Why do they call the Boxing Day? From the word, they would open their presents on Boxing Day. By the way, I know this day because a Hong Kong girl, Hong Kong was belonged Britain before, they still have some customs there. We felt excited to this, not about this specific day, everything was on sale, especially food. You know, the price in here is more expensive than the U.S.A., that lets us feel sucks.

However, we went shopping whole day, other people were crazy for clothes, accessories and so on. I will feel extravagant and guilty, if I buy one of them. When I buy something, I will assess it's practical or not and control my expenses. I think it's really easy to earn the money from women. There were tens of thousands women in the department stores and boutiques. They were filled in there.== God...... I hope I can pass the exam as fast as I can, that's why I am here, I will remind myself of studying hard every day. Godspeed.

Moreton Island on 13th & 14th Oct.

It's my first time to go tothe place far from Brisbane. The date was on 13th & 14th October. I have to apologize that the dates of the article is getting upside down, because I always have an idea for a while.

This is my travelling in Moreton Island. I am very glad to meet so many friends in here, though we speak Chinese a lot...ha. However we usually speak in Chinese in school. Anyway, the point is this specific experience.

In the first day, a funny tour guide waited for us at the Hillton Hotel. He was hilarious and humorous person. During driving to the harbor, he made a lot of joking and let us feel this is a wounderful day. Actually it was. This was my second time to take the ship, the first time was in Taiwan, we planned to go to Green Island, belong Taiwan. In the ship, I thought everyody was so excited that we took pictures a lot, unfortunately, we forgot bringing the binoculars. Why? Because there were many dolphins, whales and shakes would show up.

Anyway, we arrived the Island eventually. The tourguide took us to our camping site. There was very natural because it's my first time to feel that flies occupied this island, so many. In addition, they would follow you to go anywhere, that's the only fault in this Island. After then, we went to beautiful beach and swam in the sea. From the camping to there, the funny guy drove us roughly. In the car, we were just like in the earthquake because of the rough road.

In the second day, there were some activities such as sand boarding, snorkelling in the lake, camping in Moreton Island and so on. Especially sand boarding, that's really exciting, however, the sand hill is too high to climb many times, therefor we just played this twice and went to go snorkelling. Waht a wounderful day! However, time was up. We still had to go back. I would never forget this travelling. There are so many fantastic views, if you want you can click my Album and you will see waht I said.^^

Long time no typing

Long time no see everybody. I haven’t written my article for a long time. Tonight, I am sitting on the chair and opening my laptop. Suddenly, I have some ideas which want to share with my friends and post on my Blog.

Actually, I went to a lot of popular places such as River Festival, Gold Coast, Byron Bay, Springbrook National Park, Mt. Cootha, Moreton Island and so on. I visited so many places because of the IELTS I finally finished that exam. I just want to relieve my stress. I put myself under the pressure too long, so after that, no more test pressure in my mind again.

Firstly, I love to talk about Gold Coast. I still remember that my friend told me I was the only person who didn’t go to Gold Coast yet, but I didn’t care about that, because travelling is not my target in Aussie. However, after the exam, there is the first place where I want to go, because many people recommended me to go there. In addition, I want to see a Japanese friend who is working there.

We met at the train station in the morning, whereas some people were late so we delayed to start off. In Australia, everything is expensive but I am astonished that the many prices are higher than U.S.A., so we poor students have to find another method to resist this unreasonable circumstance. The detail I can’t tell you, but you want to know please tell me, if you want to economize the money. ^^

When we arrived Gold Coast, I just wanted to shout, What a marvellous spot. Beautiful beach, limpid sea, and bikini girls, you would suppose that you are in the paradise. There were one thing let me feel fascinated that is many distinct waves. When you enjoyed the wave coming, you would find so many different kinds of that. I stayed in the sea for a long time, it’s really nice experience, if you come to Australia, don’t forget to go to there.
